Buying a course for someone else

You can "give" a Brighton Permaculture Trust course or event to someone special in one of two ways:

Gift voucher1. You can purchase a gift voucher valid towards the purchase of any course or event run by Brighton Permaculture Trust.

Gift vouchers are available in any amount and are valid for one year after the date of purchase. Vouchers will be delivered by email, making it the perfect eco-friendly gift. Contact us for details.

2. You can purchase the course yourself for your special someone, and we will send you a gift voucher to present when the time is right.

To do this, register the intended recipient for the course online and pay for his/her place in the usual way.

Don't spoil the surprise! If you don't want the person to know about the course immediately, make sure to use your own email address when booking. Otherwise, the system will automatically send the recipient a copy of the booking and spoil it.

All details, aside from the possible exception of the email address, as noted above, need to be the ones of the person you are booking for.

If you state on the booking that the course is being given as a present, we can email a gift voucher to you (see example above right) to send on to your friend.

We ask that anyone booking as a gift for someone else uses their own personal income level to determine the booking fee, as opposed to the circumstances of the person you are buying the gift for. The main reason for this is that we are aware that someone on low income or benefits might like to buy a course for a friend on a high income but would not be able to afford to do so.
