Work will focus on general maintenance and upkee p of the orchard - it is a huge and beautiful spac e and our aim is to look after needs of the fruit trees and maintain biodiversity. Racehill is a san ctuary for wildlife and as such is not a neat and tidy orchard which is part of it's charm.

lease be aware that Racehill orchard is a wild and
wonderful place with many wild and wonderful flow
ers and plants too. There are some that can sting\
, some can scratch\, some even have sap that can b
urn if it gets on your skin and is exposed to the
sun. Therefore long trousers/sleeves highly recomm
ended as are long socks and work boots/footwear wi
th ankle protection. Shredded ankles aren't fun!\n \n
