Work will focus on general maintenance and upke ep of the orchard - it is a huge and beautiful spa ce and our aim is to look after needs of the fruit trees and maintain biodiversity. Racehill is a sa nctuary for wildlife and as such is not a neat and tidy orchard which is part of it's charm.

please be aware that Racehill orchard is a wild an
d wonderful place with many wild and wonderful flo
wers and plants too. There are some that can sting
\, some can scratch\, some even have sap that can
burn if it gets on your skin and is exposed to the
sun. Therefore long trousers/sleeves highly recom
mended as are long socks and work boots/footwear w
ith ankle protection. Shredded ankles aren't fun!<
