 ice fruit we've either picked or collected around 
 Brighton/Sussex. This fruit would have gone to was
 te but with your help it will be turned into delic
 ious juices and ciders. Learn hands on about small
  scale juice and cider production\, some of which 
 we'll sell on the day to the passing public.</p>\n
  \n <p>No experience is necessary\, and new volunt
 eers very welcome. Our juicing sessions are fun\, 
 messy and fast paced\, as we need to make sure the
  fruit is pressed before it spoils. Please note th
 is is a very physical activity\, with some heavy l
 ifting (around 15kg) of crates and stretching\, as
  top of equipment is 1.6m.</p>\n \n <p><strong>IMP
 ORTANT</strong>: Please do not register to take pa
 rt if you are ill or have had any sickness or diar
 rhoea in the previous 14 days.</p>\n \n <p>Wasp se
 ason in the UK generally starts around April and f
 inishes around mid October. We therefore advise th
 at anyone with an allergy to wasp stings does not 
 help out during this period.</p>\n \n <p>Unfortuna
 tely\, due to the fast pace of these sessions and 
 the size and nature of some of the equipment invol
 ved\, this session is not suitable for under 16’s.
  We're keen to buy more suitable equipment to run 
 family-friendly juicing sessions - so please conta
 ct us with any funding opportunities you think we 
 could apply for.</p>\n \n <p><strong>Please regist

 u register you will receive an email which will gi
 ve you a contact phone number in case you need to 
 call on the day.</p>\n \n <h2>Practical stuff</h2>
 \n \n <p>Please bring whatever food and drink you 
 need to sustain you for the day (please note there
  is a cafe opposite the Fruit Factory). There are 
 also tea/coffee making facilities in the Fruit Fac
 tory. Please dress for outdoor/rough work\, tough 
 shoes\, suitable clothes etc. Please bring work gl
 oves if you have any\, and also a pair of marigold
 s if you have some. Hands tend to get cold washing
  apples\, so having a pair of rubber gloves with s
 omething underneath if possible will really help.<
 /p>\n \n <p><strong>We are working outdoors so dre
 ss as weather conditions dictate.</strong></p>\n \
 n <p>There are toilets adjacent to the Fruit Facto
 ry and also toilets at One Garden nearby. Please d
 o not urinate in the Stanmer orchards.</p>\n \n <p
 ><strong>Please note that for all the activities a
 ll children under the age of 18 and people with su
 pport needs must be accompanied by a parent/carer 
 who is responsible for their supervision\, safety
