 \n \n <p>Join Ben & Alfie and help juice fruit we'
 ve either picked or collected around Brighton/Suss
 ex. This fruit would have gone to waste but with y
 our help it will be turned into delicious juices a
 nd ciders. Learn hands on about small scale juice 
 and cider production\, some of which we'll sell on
  the day to the passing public.</p>\n \n <p>No exp
 erience is necessary\, and new volunteers very wel
 come. Our juicing sessions are fun\, messy and fas
 t paced\, as we need to make sure the fruit is pre
 ssed before it spoils. Please note this is a very 
 physical activity\, with some heavy lifting (aroun
 d 15kg) of crates and stretching\, as top of equip
 ment is 1.6m.</p>\n \n <p><strong>IMPORTANT</stron
 g>: Please do not register to take part if you are
  ill or have had any sickness or diarrhoea in the 
 previous 14 days.</p>\n \n <p>Wasp season in the U
 K generally starts around April and finishes aroun
 d mid October. We therefore advise that anyone wit
 h an allergy to wasp stings does not help out duri
 ng this period.</p>\n \n <p>Unfortunately\, due to
  the fast pace of these sessions and the size and 
 nature of some of the equipment involved\, this se
 ssion is not suitable for under 16’s. We're keen t
 o buy more suitable equipment to run family-friend
 ly juicing sessions - so please contact us with an
 y funding opportunities you think we could apply f

 p>Please bring whatever food and drink you need to
  sustain you for the day (please note there is a c
 afe opposite the Fruit Factory). There are also te
 a/coffee making facilities in the Fruit Factory. P
 lease dress for outdoor/rough work\, tough shoes\,
  suitable clothes etc. Please bring work gloves if
  you have any\, and also a pair of marigolds if yo
 u have some. Hands tend to get cold washing apples
 \, so having a pair of rubber gloves with somethin
 g underneath if possible will really help.</p>\n \
 n <p><strong>We are working outdoors so dress as w
 eather conditions dictate.</strong></p>\n \n <p>Th
 ere are toilets adjacent to the Fruit Factory and 
 also toilets at One Garden nearby. Please do not u
 rinate in the Stanmer orchards.</p>\n \n <p><stron

 dren under the age of 18 and people with support n
 eeds must be accompanied by a parent/carer who is 
 responsible for their supervision\, safety and any
