 \n \n <p>Join Robbi Ben & Alfie and help juice fru
 it we've either picked or collected around Brighto
 n/Sussex. This fruit would have gone to waste but 
 with your help it will be turned into delicious ju
 ices and ciders. Learn hands on about small scale 
 juice and cider production\, some of which we'll s
 ell on the day to the passing public.</p>\n \n <p>
 No experience is necessary\, and new volunteers ve
 ry welcome. Our juicing sessions are fun\, messy a
 nd fast paced\, as we need to make sure the fruit 
 is pressed before it spoils. Please note this is a
  very physical activity\, with some heavy lifting 
 (around 15kg) of crates and stretching\, as top of
  equipment is 1.6m.</p>\n \n <p><strong>IMPORTANT<
 /strong>: Please do not register to take part if y
 ou are ill or have had any sickness or diarrhoea i
 n the previous 14 days.</p>\n \n <p>Wasp season in
  the UK generally starts around April and finishes
  around mid October. We therefore advise that anyo
 ne with an allergy to wasp stings does not help ou
 t during this period.</p>\n \n <p>Unfortunately\, 
 due to the fast pace of these sessions and the siz
 e and nature of some of the equipment involved\, t
 his session is not suitable for under 16’s. We're 
 keen to buy more suitable equipment to run family-
 friendly juicing sessions - so please contact us w
 ith any funding opportunities you think we could a
 pply for.</p>\n \n <p><strong>Please register for 
 this task\, so we know who is coming and only regi
 ster if you are sure you can come.</strong></p>\n

 r you will receive an email which will give you a 
 contact phone number in case you need to call on t
 he day.</p>\n \n <h2>Practical stuff</h2>\n \n <p>
 Please bring whatever food and drink you need to s
 ustain you for the day (please note there is a caf
 e opposite the Fruit Factory). There are also tea/
 coffee making facilities in the Fruit Factory. Ple
 ase dress for outdoor/rough work\, tough shoes\, s
 uitable clothes etc. Please bring work gloves if y
 ou have any\, and also a pair of marigolds if you 
 have some. Hands tend to get cold washing apples\,
  so having a pair of rubber gloves with something 
 underneath if possible will really help.</p>\n \n 
 <p><strong>We are working outdoors so dress as wea
 ther conditions dictate.</strong></p>\n \n <p>Ther
 e are toilets adjacent to the Fruit Factory and al
 so toilets at One Garden nearby. Please do not uri
 nate in the Stanmer orchards.</p>\n \n <p><strong>
 Please note that for all the activities all childr
 en under the age of 18 and people with support nee
 ds must be accompanied by a parent/carer who is re
 sponsible for their supervision\, safety and any m
