January 2022
Brighton Permaculture Trust will continue to take a cautious approach regarding Covid and follow the permaculture ethic of People Care. We are intent on providing a safe environment for everyone, respecting the needs of all participants and their contacts.
We recommend everyone follows the advice on the Brighton & Hove Council website.
Indoor activities
-
- You must wear a face mask when inside any of our venues and maintain one metre distancing indoors.
- If you are attending a course that involves spending time indoors we will require you to do a lateral flow test the day before the course.
Outdoor activities
-
- We are still requesting people to maintain distancing of at least one metre at all our outdoor activities.
- We strongly recommend that participants in our all our face-to-face activities do regular lateral flow tests.
Courses
We have started taking bookings on our in person weekend courses for 2022. Numbers on these courses are limited to a maximum of 16 participants. If the situation changes we may need to reduce course numbers to allow for more distancing.
Our Introduction to permaculture and Permaculture design courses are being run as virtual lessons with optional in-person visits. More dates for these courses will be announced soon.
The Self-building an Earthship in Europe virtual course is entirely online.
We have adapted many of our other courses to be delivered outside or via a mix of Zoom sessions and outdoor practical sessions.
Volunteering
We have lots of regular weekly volunteering opportunities. To be kept informed of what volunteering opportunities are coming up please sign up to our volunteer email list.
