The Brighton Permaculture Trust team is consistently reviewing the COVID-19 situation to deliver safe volunteering and learning opportunities.
We know that permaculture design can make a huge contribution toward creating practical, resilient and diverse solutions that will help to support our friends, families, communities and our planet, not only to cope, but to flourish.
Some of our courses that take place mostly outside will go ahead this autumn, with smaller class numbers and social distancing measures.
Our Introduction to permaculture and Permaculture design courses are being run as virtual lessons with optional visits as and when the situation allows. We are working on ideas to provide further online learning options.
We have suspended booking on many of our other courses for the time being. Please contact us via the relevant course page to be added to a waiting list. If we are able to run the course in a socially distanced and safe way we will re-open bookings nearer the course date, letting the people on the waiting list book first.
If you have a course booking you need to discuss please contact us
Larger gatherings will be held online for the foreseeable future.
Our annual event, Green Architecture Day, has become Green Architecture Sessions: a series of online talks and discussions, and our AGM will be held via Zoom later this year.
Regular volunteering sessions have resumed with limited numbers, social distancing and other Covid-safety measures in place. For more information see our current volunteering opportunities
