The Brighton Permaculture Trust team is continually reviewing the COVID-19 situation to deliver safe volunteering and learning opportunities.
Permaculture design can make a huge contribution toward creating practical, resilient and diverse solutions that will help support our friends, families, communities and our planet to flourish.
Regular weekly volunteering opportunities are now resuming. To be kept informed of volunteering opportunities please sign up to our volunteer email list.
Our Introduction to permaculture and Permaculture design courses are being run as virtual lessons with optional visits as and when the situation allows. More dates for these courses will be announced soon.
We will also have more dates for the Self-building an Earthship in Europe virtual course soon.
Our Care of fruit trees course in May is open for booking, with two classroom sessions delivered via Zoom and a socially distanced outside practical session.
We are working on providing more safe, outdoor practical course sessions and online classroom sessions.
We have suspended booking on many of our courses for the time being. Please contact us via the relevant course page to be added to a waiting list. If we are able to run the course in a socially distanced and safe way we will re-open bookings nearer the course date, letting the people on the waiting list book first.
If you have a course booking you need to discuss please contact us
Larger gatherings will be held online for the foreseeable future.
