We’ve partnered with trusted provider FreeWills.co.uk, to offer you a simple free will-writing service to make it easier for you to write your will, for free. You don’t have to leave a gift to Brighton Permaculture Trust to use this service, but we hope you will consider us.
Altrenatively, here are some examples of wording that you can use in your Will or discuss with a solicitor:
Leaving a specific sum of money
I give to Brighton Permaculture Trust, Charitable company registered in England & Wales · Charity number 1150808 · Company number 4072259 the sum of £xxx , for their general purposes and the receipt of the proper officer of the charity shall be sufficient discharge for my Executors.
Leaving a residuary legacy
I give (xxx per cent) of the residue of my estate both real and personal to Brighton Permaculture Trust, Charitable company registered in England & Wales · Charity number 1150808 · Company number 4072259 the sum of £xxx, for their general purposes and the receipt of the proper officer of the charity shall be sufficient discharge for my Executors.
(A residuary legacy is a share of what is left after other gifts, debts, taxes and costs have been paid).
Leaving a legacy for a specific purpose
I give to Brighton Permaculture Trust, Charitable company registered in England & Wales · Charity number 1150808 · Company number 4072259, the sum of £xxx and I express the wish that this legacy be used for the benefit of the xxx project and the receipt of the proper officer of the charity shall be sufficient discharge for my Executors.
