Kitchen help

Event Details

  • Date:

Sunday 20th September Kitchen help at Apple Harvest Day 2pm – 5pm

Join our Apple Harvest day team and help make this event a success. We’ll be running tours, juicing, selling scrumped goodies to the public and generally promoting our lovely charity and all that we do, fruit based and otherwise. We need help in the kitchen to support the amazing ‘Crumble Sisters’ (our lovely cooks). Tasks will include keeping the kitchen tidy, washing up and any other help as required.

Please register for this task, so we know who is coming and only register if you are sure you can come.

IMPORTANT: Please do not register to take part if you are ill or have had any sickness or diarrhoea in the previous 7 days.

Your host

Nick Casey

When you register you will receive an email which will give you his contact phone number in case you need to call him on the day.

Practical stuff

Please bring whatever food and drink you need to sustain you for the day (please note there is a cafe opposite the Fruit Factory). There are also tea/coffee making facilities in the Fruit Factory. Please dress according to the weather. You will mainly be working indoors but the doors will be open and you may be going outside from time to time.

There are toilets adjacent to the Fruit Factory and also toilets at One Garden nearby.

Directions

We will meet at the Fruit Factory which is in Stanmer village almost opposite the cafe.
