Advice regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Brighton Permaculture Trust takes the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very seriously. We are monitoring Government advice closely.
Please see the latest advice regarding Coronavirus here:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/wuhan-novel-coronavirus-information-for-the-public.
We have postponed Green Architecture Day until 3 October 2020 as this is a large networking event.
At the moment all our other volunteer activities and upcoming courses are going ahead as planned. We will be reviewing each one as the situation unfolds. Please look out for emails from us if you are booked on to a course or event.
Some of our course participants, volunteers and tutors, or the people they care for, will be in high-risk groups because of their age or being immunocompromised.
We would like to underline a few key points at this time:
- We would like to remind all volunteers and course/event participants to strictly adhere to the advice from Public Health England regarding hand washing and catching coughs and sneezes.
- We are also asking people to bring their own packed lunch to courses and volunteer activities rather than food to share.
- We are asking all tutors, volunteers and course/event participants to avoid hand shaking or hugging when greeting each other.
- If you are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 or think you have come into contact with it, or have recently travelled from a high-risk country (see link above for list) we would ask you not to attend.
We will continue to monitor advice and if the situation requires it, we may have to postpone or cancel courses and events. If this happens we will be offering a transfer or full refund.
