Name: Emma Coley
Position: Scrumped in Sussex juicing team
Emma can be found with apple juice running through her veins, pulp under her fingernails and an apple in each hand. As a new member of the team, Emma is learning the ropes of the Brighton Permaculture Trusts work and her passion, enthusiasm, desire and love of turning otherwise waste fruit into beautiful juice flows far and wide.
Emma says:
“My role leading volunteer juicing sessions is to introduce volunteers to the process of making apple juice from washing apples to tasting the first press of the day. I also pasturise the juice and label the bottles ready for selling on our weekend stall or at BPT events. Sharing the delightful process of juicing with other people is a highlight of my role.”
