Dates to be announced
This fun workshop runs from 6.30pm to 8.45pm at the BMECP Centre.
In these critical and chaotic times, it’s vital to design the world we know is possible, the world of our dreams!
What challenges are you facing right now? What are your dreams? What is desired and needed for self, family, community and planet?
Adapt is a creative process game that can be applied to anything and everything – from the design of a garden, designing how to live sustainably, a business idea, a way of caring for community or one’s self, or even, how you set up your kitchen.
Can a game really help us work through life’s challenges in an exciting and inspired way? Through playing the game, productive and practical questions will be answered. It powerfully supports and guides a holistic design process – imagining, questioning and thoroughly testing possibilities, strategies and choices.
Adapt uses permaculture design principles and care ethics to guide you to sustainability, regeneration, healing and implementable solutions. Your life may never be the same!
Play Adapt! Chose to live life by design, not by default.
Take home: Adapt strategies & personal action plan
Who is the evening for?
Everyone! You don’t have to be a gamer to enjoy this exploration into a more holistic way of playfully and proactively creating the world around us.
Don’t worry if you have never heard of permaculture: come along to find out more.
What to expect
We will spend the first part of the evening introducing the game – it’s history, concepts and how to use all it’s parts.
Then we play! Most of the event will be spent playing the game with the challenges at hand.
We will have time for a Q&A session and feedback at the end of the evening.
You can also find out more about Brighton Permaculture Trust’s courses and volunteering opportunities.
Refreshments will be available.
